Days like today, or weekends like this past weekend, make my heart so full of happiness and gratefulness that I could burst. I absolutely love spending time with the four of us all together. It’s not something that either S or I take for granted since we are both shiftworkers and our schedules don’t always (or often) line up to allow it. Tonight was supper here (homemade pizza for S and I; McCain’s pepperoni pizza for B and E), a walk to the schoolyard playground, a fun walk back in the rain (it’s been a long time since I got caught in the rain! If you like piña coladas…), and then story-reading and pure silliness.
